I read and interviewed people about pregnancy fetish to gain some clarity and now see the attraction varies greatly from person to person. It isn’t gender specific and can involve role playing on both sides.
The Birth of the Pregnancy Fetish
Demi Moore appeared on the cover of Vanity Fair in 1991, and since then celebrity watching for baby bumps has been a worldwide obsession. Being pregnant took on a glamorous vibe. It was something to show off and be proud of.
This opened up a huge market for fashion and photography. Not taking a picture of your naked self while pregnant is now considered a missed opportunity. Sites with pregnant porn are on the rise.
What Turns Men on about Pregnancy?
The men I interviewed all mentioned the belly as the fetish highlight, preferring women who are in their third trimester with a huge round bump as well as enlarged breasts.
Some men enjoy a lactation fetish, sucking on pregnant woman’s breasts for leaking milk. This crosses over to the infantalization fetish.
Others first became fixated when their wives had their first child, and they encourage their wives to dress pregnant even if they don’t want more children. Better sex, they promise.
This fetish also includes impregnation fantasies where arousal is attained through the risk of impregnation via unprotected sex. I don’t know about this one; the consequences seem too great.
Women with Pregnancy Fetish
Many females also obsess about pregnancy.
Women are going out in public with fake belly bumps because it turns them on, while others admit to enjoying the attention a pregnant woman receives from strangers.
Those who are actually pregnant admit to being more sexually inclined because they feel intensely sexy. One fetishist revealed that she was having multiple affairs because her husband was unable to satisfy her insatiable appetite while pregnant. Sounds like a woman and man that share a pregnancy fetish might get on just fine.

Writing this brought back a funny memory. I had a roommate in college that had a thing for older guys with beer bellies. They weren’t overweight and you wouldn’t know they had a huge gut from the back unless they turned sideways. She would call this kind of guy ‘the pregnant male’. Not sure if this qualifies as part of the fetish, but I had to share.
