Getting in shape is not just about looking good. It’s also about feeling good. And one of the many benefits is that you’ll enjoy a more varied and satisfying sex life. As a gym rat, I always tell people that having a fit body is just the icing on the cake when it comes to regular exercise. Let me share with you how different types of exercise can add pizazz to any sex life.

Stretching
This is a great addition to a daily routine or workout. And it can work wonders for relaxation, especially for those who suffer from dating anxiety. I like yoga and pilates for limbering up and many a partner has enjoyed the fruits of my stretching labors. One lover called me The Human Pretzel for my ability to get into some unique sexual positions. I thank stretching and yoga for my flexible talents.

Weight Training
You don’t have to be Mr. or Mrs. Universe to benefit from training with either free weights or machines. This type of exercise will help tone and strengthen your body, which in turn will build confidence. You can attract a lot more lovers with how you carry yourself. The mind and body are intertwined, so the health of one depends on the other.

Cardio
If you have a few pounds to shed, nothing works faster than cardio training, whether it be the treadmill, elliptical machine, or a stationary bike. You’ll begin to feel more energetic and positive about your appearance. And if sexual stamina has been an issue in the bedroom, cardio workouts are just the thing.

You don’t have to join a fancy gym either. Just find an exercise routine that will suit your personality and lifestyle. This might mean joining a softball league, taking canoeing lessons, or climbing indoor rock walls. Who knows, you might even meet potential partners while working out!
