5 Sexual Turnoffs to Avoid

Sex should be fun, sexy, and exciting. Is it always? Unfortunately, no. There are many things that can happen during sex that turn a partner off. And if this is a first-time hookup, it could be the last. Here is a list of turn offs and how you can avoid them.

5 Sexual Turn Offs

1. Bad Hygiene
Even if you had a shower that morning, cleaning up again right before you leave to meet your date or have her over is recommended. Things down there get sweaty and smelly over a day! Women also appreciate a bit of grooming of excessive hair, and oral hygiene is a must.

2. Too Passive or Aggressive
This may be different if you are an established d/s couple, but for new relationships, it’s best to avoid either. Most women will want a man to take the man’s role, that is to lead and take-charge. If your partner isn’t as forceful or submissive as you would like, find someone who is. Sexual compatibility is important in relationships, long-term and short.

3. No Oral Skills
This applies to both men and women. Most people expect a lover to go down, and with enthusiasm. It can be very crushing when someone avoids this or does it like it’s a minimum wage job. If you don’t know what you’re doing, ask your partner for guidance or take a sex workshop!

4. Talking Too Much
Unless it’s dirty talk of course! A few words of helpful tips that let your partner know where and how you like it are always appreciated by new lovers, but keep conversation that has nothing to do with the moment to yourself.

5. Coming Too Fast or Slow
If you ejaculate prematurely often, it’s something to look at. You may want to play slower and keep your fetishes at bay until you your partner gets attention first. Women love a man who can last, but there is a tipping point. We don’t want to be so sore that we can’t have fun for days after.

Recognizing that we all have a little kink in us, some of these no-no’s could be a partner’s fetish!
