When I was younger I met kinky men who introduced me to things like bondage, double penetration, and role playing. Now that I’m in my forties, most of the men I meet are vanilla, and I find myself introducing them to similar BDSM activities, as well as sex toys. Somehow the roles have reversed.
Beyond lube, it’s rare that I meet a man who has anything extra to pull out of his closet or toy box, to add to our fun playtimes. Wondering why many men don’t own or invest in kiny accessories, had me thinking what toys I would recommend to start a kink collection.
Sex Toys for Every Man
- Massage Bars and Oils. This is where vanilla men should start. You will be hard pressed to find a woman who doesn’t appreciate an erotic massage or a sexy foot rub. Bars and oils come in every scent imaginable and unscented for those with sensitivities. You can find these in most drug stores.
- Magic Wand. If you haven’t heard of this, just ask a female friend. It’s a large wand with a vibrating head that was sold initially as a massage tool but quickly became the most popular toy among women for it’s high-powered orgasmic inducing powers.
- Bullet Vibrator. This was my first sex toy and still gets top billing for it’s effectiveness and size. It’s easy to travel with, runs on batteries, and does the trick quick when you don’t have much time but want to get off. It’s perfect for when you’re inside a lover and want to stimulate her clit.
- Cock Ring. You can’t go wrong with this affordable and portable accessory. These come in a variety of materials, and some even vibrate! A good cock ring will be comfortable and make you last longer, and who doesn’t want that.
- Bondage Tape. One of my more recent discoveries, this tape sticks to itself and can be used again multiple times. It’s not too expensive and comes in a rainbow of colors. When you don’t have bedposts, this bondage tape works like a charm.
- Strap-On Harness and Dildo. This one might be a stretch for those of you who are new to sex toys, but once you do try a few things, this is highly recommended. Strap-on sales have gone through the roof for a reason. What submissive doesn’t enjoy a good pounding from a woman?
