6 Sex Deal Breakers

There’s nothing worse than thinking or expecting to have sex either with your partner or with someone new, only to be told it’s a no-go. It’s happened to all of us, and hopefully we’ve learned from these experiences and know what spoiled the mood or turned our lover away. Here are some deal breakers that can cause sex to stop in its tracks…

1. Poor hygiene. This can include all sorts of things: bad breath, body odour, greasy hair, overgrown pubic hair, sweaty balls. You get the idea. It’s very unattractive to think someone can’t take care of these basics.

2. Dirty Apartment. If you know you’re planning, or even hoping, to bring someone home after a date, you need to tidy up. The bathroom should be clean with fresh towels and definitely toilet paper! Having food and drinks to offer is a bonus.

3. Inappropriate Expectations. Never have hookup expectations because then you will never be disappointed. Everything becomes gravy. Just because someone you met online has been sexually flirtatious, it does not mean she’s going to have sex the first time you meet.

4. Too Much Too Fast. This especially applies to kink, fetishes, and bdsm. We all have our fantasies that we’d like to explore and make come true, but it’s rare that this happens on a first hookup. Usually sex gets better as you get to know a lover. So please don’t pull out the whips and chains the first time.

5. Porny Sex. There is this fine line that a lot of men cross wherein all of a sudden during sex, the woman will feel like she’s in a porno… and this is not good. Porn is great for getting off and getting ideas, but you shouldn’t expect real sex to be like porn, nor to imitate what you see.

6. Too Much Talking. Use your pre-hookup date to get to know your lover better. Sex is physical and talk should focus on what you’re doing or what you would like to be doing. Dirty talk is cool too if that’s your thing. Avoid bringing up the report you have due or your ex-girlfriend’s shortcomings.
