Is the diaper fetish related to adult baby fetish and little space kinks?
Yes, the diaper fetish can be connected to all kinds of other fetishes, including degradation kinks and humiliation play, or adult baby fetishes.
The acronym ABDL is often seen in reference to adult baby fetish, and stands for Adult Baby / Diaper Lover. This makes some sense, obviously, but it’s not always the case.
Adult baby fetishists may enjoy wearing onesies, being spanked, playing with baby toys, being rocked, sucking on thumbs or soothers, lactating—but with zero interest in the diaper part of the adult baby fantasy.
And some people wear diapers along with a bib and booties during age regression, or as part of entering little space, but do not have any specific attraction to or for diapers.

On the other hand, many diaper fetishists do not share any connection with adult baby fetish or age play.
Diaper Fetish Distinct from Adult Babies
Many diaper lovers are simply attracted to diapers for tactile reasons, for the taboo thrill of wetting themselves, to the look of the diaper, to the humiliation aspect, or for other motivating factors. They are not interested in the baby aspect of diaper wearing at all.

4. Plastic Diapers
This diaper fetish is very specific to the kind of diaper used. While there are diaper fetishists with a preference for old fashioned cloth diapers, some specifically thrill at rubber or latex diapers. Some also have a specific interest in the plastic pants that are traditionally pulled up over diapers to hold moisture in place.

5. Paraphilic Infantilism
Paraphilic infantilism, more commonly known as adult baby fetish, is frequently connected to diaper fetishes but not always, as discussed.
Some adult baby lovers are dependent on diaper kinks in addition to other aspects of adult baby or paraphilic infantilism, such as bottle feeding, bath time, baby food, and mommy or daddy domination.

Because infantilizing an adult can be considered humiliating rather than comforting for some, a diaper fetish can be an aspect of humiliation play.
